An American Werewolf in London is a UK VHS release by Polygram Video. It was first released by Polygram/Spectrum Video on Rental in June 1982. It was re-released by Channel 5 Video on 3rd November 1986. It was re-released on Polygram's short-lived "Spectrum" Sell Through label on 19th March 1990. It was re-released again by 4 Front Video (gold label) on 19th August 1991. It was then re-released by 4 Front Video and Karussell on 15th March 1993. On 4th March 2002 it was re-released by Universal on both VHS and DVD.

Description[]

From the director of Animal House – a different kind of animal.

When it is the full moon – beware!  It’s the time of the Werewolf.  When the beast attacks and kills, his victims become the undead, doomed to roam the earth throughout eternity.  When a victim survives, he or she becomes a Werewolf.  This is the story of a young man who survives. He’s fallen in love with his beautiful nurse… but the full moon is due soon!
