Last of the Summer Wine - Series 1 is a double video boxed set with two separate videos in one box that is released by Universal Pictures (UK) Ltd with distributed under license from BBC Worldwide Ltd on 2nd September 2002 containing all the six episodes in Season 1 of the ever-popular longest-running Yorkshire-Board-themed TV comedy show "Last of the Summer Wine" that was originally transmitted on BBC1 in 1973 including the first three episodes combined together as an omnibus triple bill on tape 1 and the last three episodes in normal televised broadcast form on tape 2.

These first three episodes in Season 1 of Last of the Summer Wine which are "Short Back and Palais Glide",
"Inventor of the Forty Foot Ferret" and "Paté and Chips" which are included on Tape 1 in this video set are all
debuted together as omnibus collection of episodes that were first used on an old BBC Video release in 1984
with the opening titles that are only included at the start of the first episode shown on this video which is
"Short Back and Palais Glide" and the omnibus closing credits with all of the production team's names from
all the three episodes on this video all piled up together as one full credit roll that is only included at the end
of the last episode shown on this video which is "Paté and Chips".
